What was once a white wooden chair is now a bright, colorful, geometric chair with gold dipped legs.
My husband and I stumbled on this chair one Fine day and pretty much got it for free. I had absolutely nothing planned for it but how do you turn down free stuff so I just ended up getting it either way.
Here is the Before shot.
Supplies you need for this project
Four shades of Blue Paint
Gold Spray Paint (my favorite)
Gold Liquid Gilding (for touch-ups)
The color combinations I wanted to use for this chair was in the family of blue from minty green (not technically blue but oh well) to ocean blue.
We need to do it first since we want those pretty gold lines to show through after we paint it on top.
When the chair is dry start taping it.
Literally whatever design you want, just go in and make it at this point.
The legs got the Gold Dipped look simply by masking tape the tips equally on all four legs.
And there you have it.
