I’ve finally started working on my work/study room.
About time I would say!
What I plan to create in my study space is a colorful gallery wall.
And not just some ordinary gallery wall, I want it to be covered from the ceiling to the floor (not literally) with wall art.
And this guy right here is one of the many Wall Arts that will go up in that room. There is no theme or no cohesiveness as to what the Gallery wall will end up looking like since I want each and every single one of it to be unique and different.
With that said lets start with this guy.
I first gave the canvas a good coat of this deep blue color from DecoArt.
When the paint was dry which didn’t take that long at all I placed the stencil on top and went in with the color white.
I used a foam roller brush to get the paint evenly spread out.
After that began the process of making a million little dots.
For that I took off the top part of the elmers glue so I could get the tiny little dots that I wanted and then I attached it onto an empty paint bottle I had lying around.
You will see all of that in the video I added below so don’t worry guys.
I started with this light purple color and went around the rim of the inner petals of the flower.
This video can give you an idea of how I actually made it.
I was going to keep it one color but of course that can never be possible in my world.
I went in and added a little pink.
And for the outer petals I used this bright orange.
I could have stopped there but of course how can anything be complete without some Gold.
And then came my Liquid Gold Gilding to the rescue.
And basically I went crazy with it!
That was it.
What do you guys think?
