Today I decided to spruce up an old bag which I didn’t really use that much at all since I bought it.
But after this little makeover, I can’t seem to stop using it. I absolutely love that with just some paint this bag looks brand new.
Here is how it looked Before
It was pretty good to begin with but it was just really really Plain.
So I decided to make it exciting by using DecoArt Stylin Paints which is perfect to be used on shoes, bags and other Accessories.
Materials Needed for this Project
DecoArt Stylin (Aqua, Fuschia, Orange and Beige)
I taped off the bag into a geometric pattern using Masking Tape.
I used three main colors Aqua, Orange and Fuchsia.
I did leave some of the original green color as it complimented the color scheme.
Using a foam paintbrush I painted all three spaces.
After I removed the tape and the bag was dry, I decided to create a gorgeous 80s Mod Inspired Patten on top of it.
You can google any 80s pattern and recreate it.
I went with this particular one.
Just use a really thin tipped paintbrush so to get the perfect lines and designs.
And there you have it.
Doesn’t it look so beautiful now.
Let me know if you would try this out?
As always if you guys liked this project be sure to Pin it for later.
