I absolutely love playing around with this Aztec stencil.
I’ve used this stencil on multiple projects.
In case you are wondering you can see it on my gorgeous Aztec Table Makeover or on my Tribal Art Canvas.
Aztec Art is my absolute favorite since you can play around with so much color and pattern.
And It had to be added in my Gallery Wall Collection without a question.
Supplies Needed for this Project
DecoArt Chalky Finish in Coral
DecoArt Maxx Gloss in Turquoise
When I first was deciding the base color of the canvas I realized I had never used black in any of my project that I have done up till now.
Hence today was the perfect time to use it.
I used a mix of colors.
Peach and Turquoise paint by DecoArt.
And a bunch of different colored Acrylics paints from projects done previously.
I’m really loving making video tutorials of my DIY projects lately so of course I made another one for this Bejeweled Aztec Art.
If you are new to stenciling it isn’t complicated at all.
Just place the stencil where you want it and lightly dab your stencil brush on top of it.
This Aztec stencil also reminded me of my Southwestern Table, I am telling you Aztec is a gorgeous pattern to play around with.
For the final step which isn’t in the video, I went in with these Jeweled stickers that I had bought from Michaels.
There was a sale going on the Christmas decor section and I thought why not just get it.
I had absolutely no idea why would I ever want this, but it all worked out at the end.
So I placed the stickers all over, wherever I thought it made sense and looked cute.
And that was it!
All Done!
