The Final Reveal Day is here!
The Dining Room turned out even better than what I expected. It has all the bright, bold and colorful elements that I wanted and works so well together.
Before I jump into the all the beautiful pictures I just want to remind you guys how this space looked six weeks ago.
A little close up shots of the chairs and table.
The Dining Table as you can see I already Marbled using multiple paint colors and you can see the whole video process as well as the step by step in my Marbled Paint Dining Table post.
And here is how it looks now.
Let’s first start with the Wallpaper which I received from Repeel Wallpaper.
It is a removable wallpaper which is great if you live in a rental as it doesn’t damage the walls. The pattern I chose makes the space so lively and bright. You can read all about my Wallpaper installation in Week 2 of my One Room Challenge.
Moving onto the Ikea Ivar Cabinets that I turned into a Buffet table.
I used Texture Paints from DecoArt to create the design.
The whole process you can see in my Week 3 post.
I think what makes the whole thing come together is these gorgeous Acrylic Legs which I received from Osborne Woods.
They are just stunning!
Also we need to take a second to appreciate the DIY Drawer Knobs that I made using Resin.
The full tutorial of how I made these glitter and stones drawer knobs is in my Week 4 post.
Let’s move onto the chairs and the Dining Table.
As I mentioned in Week 1 that I would keep the existing Dining Table as I recently transformed it using the Marbling Paint Technique and you can read all about it over here.
But I did add a little element of surprise and that was this gorgeous Trim from Osborne Woods.
This was a six feet long trim and you can see the whole process of how I attached these in my Week 5 post.
The trim instantly transformed it into such a unique table.
The four chairs that I had already in the Dining Room I painted all of them in different bright colors and then spray painted the legs gold. The final touch was to add these beautiful Wood Appliques also from Osborne Wood at the back of each seat.
No room is complete without a Wall Art.
Creating a Wall Art for this room was really tricky as it already has so many colors and patterns were happening that it took me a while to figure out the design and the color scheme for the Wall Art.
I added a Gold Frame to the Canvas which actually makes it seem like a really high end Art piece.
I added some bright artificial flowers on top of the Buffet Table to frame the Wall Art.
This beautiful Melamine Platter is by Laura Ashely USA as well these adorable Cactus Candles that I placed on the shelves.
This corner looked bare hence why I decided to hang these DIY shelves, added some decorative pots and candles.
The Gold Accent Table on which I placed the Vase with Monsterra Leaves is also a DIY table that I made myself.
You can see the full step by step tutorial over here. I thought it fit in perfectly with the whole theme of the room.
And that is it for my Dining Room Makeover.
This room makes me so happy with all its colors and patterns.
