To think of it I haven’t given a makeover to a console table and to top it off I’ve never used such a light pretty Coral color on any of the furniture pieces I’ve transformed to date.
So this table was literally a double whammy of trying two completely new things and it turned out really good in my opinion.
Update: This table did in fact get another makeover and you can look at how it looks present day over HERE
This is how it looked Before
Besides the fact that it needed a little cleaning it was in perfect condition.
But just a little too dark for my taste!
Material Needed for this Project
DecoArt Outdoor Living Paint in Coral
Cutting Edge Stencil Portuguese Tile
Hence I completely went the opposite route and used DecoArts Outdoor Living Paint in this beautiful light Coral Color.
After removing the hardware I painted the console and gave it two coats of the Coral paint.
The result of this paint is absolutely amazing since it always gives a smooth, flawless finish
For the hardware and the stenciling part I used DecoArt Metallic Gold Cream.
And For the actual stenciling I used Portuguese Tile Stencil Kit from Cutting Edge Stencils.
I did three designs on top and just one right in the middle on the bottom part.
When the hardware had dried I re-attached it back onto the console and that was pretty much it.
All Done.
It really is one bright and cheery transformation!
What do you guys think?
