If you have been following me for a while now, you know how I love the Southwestern Pattern.
I have painted it on my Nightstand, on a Bench, on a Bowl, and even created Wall Arts.
The only thing left was to make Southwestern Coasters and these Wood Slices were perfect for it.
Materials Needed for this Project
Scissors
I ordered these Wood Slices off Amazon and they were great to use as Coasters.
I have used these on two other projects such as DIY Colored Stain Coasters and Resin Turquoise Stone Coaster.
This gorgeous fabric print I have previously used in my Bar Stool Makeover post.
The leftover fabric is what I used for this project.
Place the wood slice piece on the fabric and trace around it using a pencil.
Then cut the fabric accordingly.
Dab a little Mod Podge on your foam brush and gently place the cut out fabric piece onto the wood slice coaster.
I love using Mod Podge for decoupaging and I have create really fun projects using it such as my Palm Leaf Gold Accent Table and these Decoupaged Bottles.
Lastly I used a little Liquid Gold Gilding and painted the sides of the wood.
This is how it turned out.
What do you guys think?
Such a simple and quick craft.
If you guys liked this project be sure to Pin it for later.

Would this work for ceramic tile coasters. I have about 20 of them in all kinds of colors and patterns. I’m really tired of looking at them.
Thanks,
