So in my last post I kinda forewarned you guys that the next few projects will be on a Marbleized theme.
When I painted these wall arts which you can see here, a lot of paint was used up and a lot of it spilled over the sides trying to achieve the marble effect.
And you have two options either let it go to waste or recycle old bottles with the leftover paint.
Of course I couldn’t waste it so I took out my empty bottle stash, went ahead and literally dipped the bottles into the “pool” of paint.
When that was done and dry I wanted to add another element on the bottles so I used this leaf shaped stencil by DecoArt.
The bigger leaves I used on the mason jar bottles and the smaller leaves on the taller bottle.
I used white since a lot of color was already going on with the marbling in the background hence I opted for something neutral on top.
I stenciled all around the bottles.
This was a really quick project since I already had the paint mixture ready.
But even starting from scratch won’t take long.
Coincidentally my husband brought me a bouquet of roses that very day which was perfect timing since I hadn’t planned out what I would add in the bottles.
And the red roses complimented the bottles beautifully.
And that was it!
What do you guys think?
Quick, easy and super fun.
