I had an absolute blast transforming my living room space. It makes me so happy and cheerful.
Our living room does not get that much sunlight hence to make up for the lack of light I wanted to brighten up every single piece and furniture in the room.
The room Before was completely bare and absolutely boring.
There was basically no color and everything was the same shade of brown, dark green or beige.
So my plan was to do the exact opposite and inject as much colors as I could possibly do so in this space.
I got the sofas professionally reupholstered since that was one task I was not going to undertake.
The curtains I switched from another bedroom which had orange accents to it.
Moving onto the countless DIY Projects I did in this space, firstly the Wall Stenciling.
I created that by using a stencil I cut out from a piece of Cardboard and stenciled the entire wall.
That alone made such a difference.
I added in two Wall Art pieces which were really easy to make as well.
I chose the herringbone pattern to create on these pieces over an abstract background.
For the side tables I transformed two pair of sides and moved it into this space and you can see the complete tutorial in my Gold Geometric Side Table post.
The mirror was of course also a DIY project, which only required strips of cardboard and some Gold Glitter.
For all the other decoration pieces I went in and spray painted them Gold to fit in with the theme of the room.
The Rug underneath the table was also hand painted with multiple shades of pink.
And basically this is what I ended up with.
What do you guys think ?

Did you do the copper wall art? My go to color in my home right now is copper and I have a big piece left over from covering my entry door in copper. I would like to use it in something like that. Thanks for sharing your talents.

The room is beautiful but that wall niche is incredible. Did you do it and how was it done? It looks like copper in the pictures and is amazing with the gold vase and flowers in front of it.
