I think we all have established that I am like the biggest fan of herringbone there has been and will ever be in this world.
I have created this pattern on countless tables, walls, decoration pieces, lamps and chairs.
You name it and I have done it All.
So of course this table was going to be no exception.
Side Note: If you guys want to see how I transformed that beautiful lamp on the table, you can do so by checking out my Drab to Fab Lamp Makeover post.
But lets move onto today project and show you guys how this table actually looked Before.
I mean this fella was really dated and with the low quality of my camera it looks even worse.
It had this fake laminate wood finish, two mismatched drawer pulls and to finish it off it had wheels at the bottom.
But we all know with some TLC this table was going to be completely transformed.
Materials Needed for this Project
Mint Green Chalk Paint
Masking Tape
Gold Spray Paint
Paintbrush
First I took the drawers out and painted them completely with the Chalk Paint as well as the entire body of the table.
When the drawers were dry, that is when I went in with masking tape to create the herringbone pattern.
When that was done, I spray painted the entire drawers with Gold Spray Paint.
Let it dry then carefully peel off the tape.
Okay so before you guys point out the fact that I didn’t change the drawer pulls and it looks odd since they both are so different.
In my defense I tried everything, they were screwed in so tight that no way on Earth were they going come out.
So I had to admit defeat and just deal with what I had.
And that was it for this little makeover.
From what it looked Before I think it looks amazing now.
And if you guys think the same please be sure to Pin it.
