I am so excited to tell you guys that I am partnering up with several other talented home decor bloggers and we will be bringing you guys one DIY project every month with a specific theme every month for the whole year.
Yup! You heard it right the whole year.
You can find out more about it at the end of the post and all the amazing projects they have created for this month.
The theme for this month was Build to Organize Challenge.
This was perfect as I had been meaning to sort my craft supplies for a while now and I had just the right DIY Idea for it.
Materials Needed for DIY Mini Wood Crates Organizer Project
Step by Step Tutorial for DIY Mini Wood Crates Organizer
I bought these Mini Crates from Michaels and they were a great deal, almost a dollar each.
The quality of these crates are pretty good for the price you pay and they are a great blank canvas for paint etc aswell.
In total I bought 7 crates.
The color palette I chose were along the lines of bright and colorful which is probably how must of projects end up.
I painted each one of the crates and let it dry.
When the crates were dry I went in and applied Gorilla Glue so to attach the crates together.
I was going to attach the crates in such a way that the three in the middle were horizontal and two on either end were going to be vertical.
Let the glue completely dry, I gave it a day. I also placed heavy books on either end of the crates so that they dry together completely.
And here is how it turned out.
After I had completed this project I ended up using it as a spice organizer for my kitchen and it works and looks great.
What do you guys think?
