I know I have been on a hiatus but I am back today with another Wall Art to add to my Gallery Wall Collection.
I had been on a Michaels shopping trip where I basically just picked up the most random things anyone can imagine.
I never actually have a plan when I go there I just pick up whatever piques my interest and then later on when I come back home I figure out what to actually do with all the stuff !
And that is how this Floral Wall Art came about!
Starting off I chose two colors as my background.
A light coral/peach shade and purple.
Materials Needed for This Project
DecoArt Purple Outdoor Living Paint
The first coat was the purple color.
And then after that with a very light hand I went in and just blended in the Peach color.
Just to give the background some dimension.
Like a two tone effect.
After that I went in with DecoArts stencil and some Liquid Gold Gilding of course!
(You know , no project is complete without some Gold in my world)
The random shopping from Michaels I was talking about earlier, made me end up buying these little flowers and circle stickers.
I painted the flowers lightly with some Gold as well.
After that it was just a matter of placing the flowers and circles however you want.
And that was it!
Don’t forget to paint around the edges of the canvas.
I went in an later on painted all four sides with the color purple.
Heres a quick little video I made of the whole project where you can exactly see what I did.
And there you have it.
A super quick and simple Floral Wall Art!
What do you guys think?
