I know, I already know that you must be wondering that this little fella recently had a makeover and you can read all about it in in my Blue and White Table Makeover post.
The truth is I just really wanted a change even though its been less than a year, I still wanted an upgrade and after getting these beautiful colors from Country Chic Paint I just had to give this piece a re-makeover!
Since I am part of this monthly contest called Fab Flippin Furniture Contest this months theme was “Bling Bling”.
So keeping that in mind I ordered these beautiful colors.
The packaging in which they come is super Cute!
The color I ordered was Sea Storm which is somewhat of a dark grey and I normally never go for anything which is remotely in the grey-ish tones since I like to inject color in every single piece but I knew I was going to bling this piece out with Gold hence I wanted to keep the base color a neutral tone.
For the front drawers of the table which had the beautiful wood design I chose Pocket Watch Metallic Accent Cream color.
Before we begin let me remind you guys how this table looked like Before.
So I pulled out the drawers, laid them out and gave it a good coat of the Sea Storm color.
The Nightstand itself also got the same treatment.
It really didn’t need much time to dry and almost in under two hours I could go ahead and use the beautiful metallic cream.
I wanted to give it that old, distressed, cottage chic feel look.
Honestly I couldn’t believe that I would end up really loving the Sea Storm color since I know usually never gravitate towards Grey colors and for this piece I think it was a really good decision.
The drawer handles also got a little dabbing of the Gold metallic cream. I waited for another hour until the drawers were dry and re-attached the handles.
And that was it.
What do you guys think?
The perfect amount of Gold and Grey in my opinion.
