Gorgeous Ikea Furniture Hacks
This has to be by far my top favorite IKEA Furniture Hacks. I used two IKEA Ivar Cabinets, added legs and painted it into a gorgeous dining room Buffet Table.
Not only did I save money on a high end credenza I actually love this piece more as I was able to customize it according to my Dining Room Decor.
So this is not a furniture hack but I am sure you have seen these IKEA Lamps countless times in your life.
I just about had enough of the plain white crunchy look of the lampshade and took matters in my hand and painted the lampshade using watercolor paints.
In my opinion stencils can transform any basic piece into something which has so much character and design. Plus it is so quick and easy to do as well.
These Ikea Lacks tables are a big hit in my home and I can see why as the stencil complemented the table perfectly.
I have to admit that I have an obsession with stenciling and you can see more of it in my Creative Ways to Use Stencils post.
What I love about this makeover is the bright and bold colors that I used. I am not much of a fan of bright green colors but this one turned out gorgeous.
Don’t you agree?
I don’t think I have ever come across an Ikea Lack Coffee table which looks like this one! I have an obsession with the Southwestern pattern so I just had to have this design on my coffee table.
The stencil was a little DIY I made myself. I chose bright colored Mint and Coral paints which made all the difference.

Okay I promise this is going to be my last Ikea Stenciled Furniture piece. This beautiful Indian Inlay stencil I have used on multiple pieces from an old dated dresser, to a wall shelf, on a canvas and now on this Ikea table.
It is safe to say, this is one of my favorite stencils since it gives every piece such a unique look!
So this last one is a mix of IKEA furniture, basically the gold legs of the table are from Ikea.
The legs were a boring grey color which I spray painted Gold.
Then I Placed a plain glass table top which I also etched. Simple yet beautiful makeover.
And that was it for IKEA Furniture makeovers, I hope you guys liked my fun and bright twist on all the pieces.
Like I said before there are so many way you can update an IKEA Furniture. I have seen people turn Ikea baskets into pendant lights or side tables. So many ways to customize it and make it your own.
