Okay so no joke this simple yet impactful DIY literally took me a whopping 5 minutes to complete from start to finish.
You can do it two ways and both of them take the same time. The beauty of this project is that you can use whatever you like beads, diamonds etc and transform an old plain basket into this vibrant version.
This is how my basket looked Before.
Nothing exciting just your regular simple basket.
Materials Needed for this project
Scissors
I found this piece of lace trim that I had kept a while back thinking I might need it for something in the future (does anyone else does that?)
And this basket was the perfect victim for it.
So there are two ways to complete this project one is to go the regular route and use a strong glue like E6000 and glue it in place.
Or the second option is the one I went with since I was all out of glue that day.
Behold my simple trick of using common pins.
Wrap the lace trim around the basket and start placing your pins and holding it in place with them.
Don’t worry about the pins sticking out or poking you because it will be completely inserted into the basket.
The plus side of this option is that it isn’t a permanent situation and you can always take out the lace trim if you get tired of it and update it using something else.
And there you have it.
See I told ya it would literally be under 5 minutes.
