This table had me so confused to begin with, I fell in love with the design on the front and since then I knew I had to get this table.
This table came with its whole family, you guys can see how its brother which also got a makeover over here.
Unlike the Hexagon Shaped brother this table was square and since I had stenciled that table aswell hence for that reason this also got the same treatment.
Materials Needed for This Project
Behr Racy Red Paint
Thin Tip Paintbrush
Scissors
It was in a pretty decent condition, no damages just some stains and some scratches here and there. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed. And clearly I was in such a hurry to start painting that I didn’t even pause to take a proper before shot. Oh well this shall have to do!
So I chose these two shades of Behr Paint one was Beet Root and the other was Racy Red in Matte. I mixed both of these together and then used my Homeright Finish Max Sprayer and I sprayed the entire table.
The plan was to completely paint the whole table in these colors but then again I had put in so much effort with the stenciling that I felt like I should at least keep some of it.
The stencil I had used on this table had a Moroccan vibe to it and I painted it with some Liquid Gold Gilding.
Hence before spraying the entire table I taped off a diamond pattern on top of the table as well as taped the front handles of the table which I had already painted Gold and I didn’t want to go back again and paint it Gold again!
With my sprayer in hand I got to work.
I gave the table two coats of the paint and within five minutes I had a flawless finish.
Those little corners and curves in the design would have taken me forever with a paintbursh but with the sprayer I was done within minutes.
I think this is the perfect amount of stenciling now. Don’t you think ? 🙂
The Aztec Lamp Makeover on the table also got a transformation.
And there you have it guys.
