I absolutely love transforming furniture pieces and when I stumbled upon this octagon shaped table I instantly fell in love with it.
The size, shape and the front handles were just gorgeous.
The table itself was also in a really good condition with just some minor stains on top but no major damages so I just had to have it.
This is how it looked before
And these were the slights stains on top of it which I told you guys earlier.
Materials Needed for This Project
Paintbrushes
I wanted this table to have a really bright paint job, something that would really POP hence why I went with this shade of green.
If you guys really want to see how crazy I get with color then be sure to check out my Ten of the Most Colorful Furniture Projects.
After wiping and cleaning the table I went in and gave the table almost three coats of the paint to completely cover it.
The table itself was going to be only one color but the handles I wanted to upgrade and paint completely Gold.
Just one coat of the liquid Gold Leaf and the handles were instantly transformed.
I love how shiny it always turns out.
And that was pretty much it.
Give it a light coat of the Polycrylic spray paint to protect and seal it.
With just a little paint and some Gold this little guys look so much better.
I’m completely in love with it.
What do you guys think?
I have also used this color on my Hexagon Table which you should definitely check out
And as always if you liked this project be sure to Pin it for Later.
