After a very long time I got to paint a wall and Guess What? We chose a design which took us about 9 hours, this beautiful Hexagon Painted Wall. Of course how could we ever settle for anything less labor intensive.
How could that ever be possible in my life. But I do really love this wall so I can’t really complain!

Moving onto how I created this masterpiece.
Supplies Needed for this project
Carboard (to make the stencil template)
Chalk Paint (I went with pastel shades)
Gold Paint
Masking Tape
Alot of Patience and Energy!
So first I created a simple Hexagon stencil cut out from cardboard.
After that I placed the stencil, starting from one corner of the wall and then taped around it. Simple yet time consuming. I couldn’t think of any other way, so this was it.
We did this technique on the entire wall until it was completely covered with masking tape and hexagon patterns.
I didnt really have a set plan for how to paint the shapes but since all the colors were such a beautiful neutral shade of pastel that they all complemented each other perfectly.
The diamond pattern exclusively was painted Gold.
About 8 hours of continuous labor with some breaks in between this stunning wall was finally complete.
What do you guys think?
Would you just look at that.
So cute!
Would you recreate this feature wall?
