Since summer is coming to a close, vacations are wrapping up and kids are going back to school, this can be a perfect way for you to set some Back To School Goals for your kids as well as for yourself to get everyone motivated for the year.
And if you have a Wall like this, which is so prominent I don’t think you can stop yourself from writing down and achieving your goals! Who would have thought it could look this cute!
I don’t know about you guys but I just can’t take the usual route to make a typical board, I need my Goals right in front of me in a super colorful, pretty pattern which gets me motivated hence I ended up with this Southwestern Inspired design and I couldn’t be happier.
Incase you guys don’t know I am obsessed with the Southwestern pattern and you can see it in this post, which is my Southwestern Table Makeover
I made the entire design out of Post-It® products, you don’t have to just use it the regular way, get creative and make it fun.
For this specific project I bought the following
Post-It® Notes Cube Mixed Case, 3″ x 3″ in Pink Wave 400 Sheets/Cube
&
Post-It® Super Sticky Notes, Lined, 4 in x 6 in Rio de Janeiro Color Collections, 4-Pack
I also bought Post-It® Notes Super Sticky Super Sticky Notes, 3 x 3, 90-Sheet Pad in the color Fuchsia, Limeade and Blue.
A few other items which included the Scotch™ Magic Tape 1/2 Inch X 800 Inches
And these beautiful Glitter Washi Tapes from Scotch™ Expression Line.
This was my little stash of goodies.
Don’t these colors just get you excited?
Starting off with the Post-It® Pink Wave Cube, I chose the blue color first and in a four, three, two and lastly one sequence I posted the notes one next to the other.
And I did exactly the same with the pink color.
For the middle of my Southwestern Design, I used the Light Green Shade of the notes but this time the sequence was more of six, four, three and one.
I then repeated the same pink and blue combination on the other side to complete the whole look.
This is a really simple pattern to make, and it looks stunning.
But you do have to keep a check, for it to turn out perfectly straight. So apply a few notes and then take a step back to see if it’s straight, then keep on posting.
And there you have it a stunning DIY Post-It® wall done in under an hour.
And now for the fun part, you get to write down your goals.
You can personalize it with your own goals.
If you want these Post-It® completely stuck to the wall you can go ahead and make it fun by using the Glitter Washi Tapes or if you want a more cleaner look with no glitter then Scotch™ Magic Tape is the way to go.
I ended up keeping it as is.
I had so much fun with my writable beautiful wall and honestly you are more likely to make your to-do’s, goals and dreams happen by writing them down, in fact you are 42% more likely to accomplish things if you write them down*
You could also jot down your back to school goals like I did on my Post-It® Super Sticky Notes which are lined, super handy for a person like me who can’t seem to write in a straight line so this was just just perfect!
And then you can also stick them wherever you like.
So what do you guys think?
Will you recreate this Beautiful Southwestern Inspired Goal Setting Wall?
