I love experimenting and playing around with color, if you are a long time reader you already know.
And if you are new around here be sure to check out my 10 Most Colorful Furniture Makeover.
But moving on to todays little number.
I have created a few floral pattern pieces in the past which you can check out, Floral Wall Art, Rose Wall Art and Floral Mug post.
And today I wanted to create another one but with a little twist.
Materials Needed for this Project
DecoArt Premium Acrylic Paint in Teal, Violet and Magenta
First I painted the entire canvas completely in the color Teal.
I gave it about two coats and let it dry.
The next step was using the gorgeous stencil.
Place the stencil and center it on top of the canvas.
I alternated between the pink and the violet color with the foam roller brush and stenciled the middle section of the canvas only.
Remove the stencil and this is how it turned out using the two different shades.
The last step was going to make this little piece of Art really POP.
I used Extreme Sheen to border and outline the entire pattern.
Not only did it give it a cute metallic finish but gave it some dimension and texture as well.
It didn’t take too long and was actually lot of fun to basically trace the entire design.
I also extended the design so by the end it covered the entire canvas.
And here is the final result.
I also made a quick little video of how I made the Wall Art from start to finish for you guys to enjoy!
I don’t think I have created a piece like this before and hence why I love it even more!
And like always if you guys loved this project be sure to Pin It for later.
