I bought these super cute Terra Cotta Pots a while back for my garden and decided that I will paint them before actually using them.
Who doesn’t want a lively and colorful garden.
When I got done painting them I actually used them as home decoration then using them in the garden since I thought they looked so cute.
I bought around five Pots and decided to use Masking Tape to create patterns on each one of them.
Materials Needed for This Project
Acrylic Paints (Grey, Hot Pink, Yellow, Dark Green, Light Green and White)
First off I painted all the pots completely white to have a blank canvas to start with.
After that from that point on I painted all the pots in different colors from Dark Blue, to Yellow, Green etc.
Wait for them to completely dry before you start the masking tape process.
So I went ahead and started taping the pots like I did with this blue one in an almost Herringbone pattern.
I created another pattern on the yellow pot.
You can create any pattern you prefer and tape the pots the way you like.
This is what I ended up creating.
After that it was time to paint over the masking tape.
I played around with the colors.
And this is what I ended up with.
Remover the masking tape and enjoy your new little pots.
I’ve also painted Terra Cotta Bowls which I think you should definitely check out for more inspiration.
Which one do you like?
