These Gorgeous DIY Dollar Store Hacks for Valentine Day are not only quick and easy but Budget-friendly as well.
Valentines Day is around the corner and I thought I would share with you guys Three Beautiful but Budget Friendly Valentine Day Projects using items from the 99 Cent Stores Only.
I have created so many fun craft projects from the 99 store and you can check them out over here and here.
But today I wanted to share you guys my take on Valentine by only using items from the 99 because first of all they have such amazing prices and deals everyday and to top it all of the 99 has all of your favorite name brands at a price that can’t be beat.
When I went in for some Valentine Shopping I was just blown away with the variety of items they had on display. There is always something new and exciting at the 99. You never know what you’ll find when you “do the 99”.
The amount of Valentine Candy, flowers, decorations, home decor items etc that they had was just amazing and you can bet I made sure to grab one of each item.
I had three projects in mind which required some clear vases, decorative bags, candy and some decorative paper.
I bought so much stuff and my total bill was less than what I pay at other stores for my craft supplies. And if you are interested in some 99 shopping then click here to find a store near you.
I ended up purchasing a picture frame, decorative bows, gift bags, artificial flowers, Valentine confetti, candy, candles and clear vases
Now let’s jump right into some DIY Valentine Day Crafts.
DIY Chocolate Heart Frame
First of all look how cute this looks and it requires only a few items but the results are just stunning.
For this project I used a picture frame, a glittery gold striped gift bag and some heart shaped chocolate candy.
The front of the gift bag was actually going to be the main pattern inside of the picture frame.
The black and white stripes which was on the side of the bag I used it on the outside of the frame.
I glued on the stripes and let it dry.
The Gold and white stripes I cut out to fit in the frame.
The last part was to create the heart shape with the chocolate candy.
This was pretty easy as I used some double sided sticky tape to attach the heart candy on the outside of the frame. Play around with the placement if you want to create a different pattern but I ended up with a heart shape.
And here is how it turned out.
I also attached one of the decorative red bows I purchased from the 99 store on one side of the frame.
Doesn’t it look just Beautiful.
DIY Valentine Day Confetti Candles
Okay so if you thought the previous DIY was easy to make then prepare to have your mind blown as to how easy and quick these DIY Valentine Day Candles are to make as you only need two things which is confetti and glue.
I purchased plain white candles from the 99 and some Valentine Day Confetti which had all sorts of shapes from hearts to Xs and Os.
So I created two versions using the same Confetti.
For the first one you need to apply glue to more than half of the candle. Then spread some confetti out on a piece of paper and roll the candle directly on top of it.
Shake off the candle so the excess confetti falls off and if you see any empty patches just go in and apply some more glue and sprinkle some more confetti in the place.
The second version is where I chose the different sizes of confetti hearts and placed them in a straight line.
Apply glue and one by one attach the hearts onto the candle.
The last step is optional where you can attach a decorative bow onto the candle.
I decided to tie the black and white striped heart which I reused from the decorative gift bag in the above DIY Chocolate Heart Frame project.
And there you have it a fun Candle Makeover for Valentines Day.
Decorative Chocolate Roses Vase
Honestly this vase turned out even better than I expected and looks so expensive when all the items used on this project are from the 99 all of which are super affordable and budget friendly.
I chose a wide base vase to place all my roses and candy.
First I filled the base with Multi Colored Heart Shaped Candy.
Then came the fun part of placing chocolate roses, artificial rose and some Valentine Day decoration.
First I placed the Artificial Roses in the middle of the vase.
On the back of the vase I placed the Valentine Decoration as it was longer in length.
Right in the front I placed all of the Rose Shaped Chocolate Candy.
The last little touch was to add a big glittery red bow on the neck of the vase.
And there you have it.
How easy and gorgeous are these Three Valentine Day Gift Ideas!
Which one will you make?
You have to agree that such simple items from the 99 store can be transformed into gorgeous Valentine Day Gift Ideas with just some DIY and creativity.
