This project is literally the true definition of recycling and repurposing.
And to be honest I actually had a lot of fun creating these Flower Shaped Wooden Crate using TP Rolls.
I had these wooden crates leftover from a shipment of fruits and vegetables and I decided to keep it since they were in pretty good shape.
Materials Needed for this Project
TP Rolls
Scissors
Paintbrushes
Since I was covering about two wooden crates in total I needed about 12 TP Rolls to create the design I ended up making.
First flatten one of the roll out and then with scissors start cutting them in equals sizes.
From that point on I individually painted the strips which when I look back on it I would have definitely spray painted them. It would have saved so much time and energy.
The crates I already painted white beforehand and had dried before I started placing the cutouts around.
This was the rough idea of how the actual crate would end up looking.
Take the painted cutouts and using a little bit of the glue and start gluing them around the crate.
Give it almost a whole day to be completely dry before using them.
All Done!
What do you guys think?
You could hang these up as Wall Arts or even use it to store your fuzzy blankets, knick knacks etc.
This could also be a really good idea as Gift Basket.
