Learn how to transform a plain thrifted vase in under 30 minutes and give it a completely new life.
This was a fun little project firstly it didn’t require that much preparation and only needed two products to finish it.
Secondly, I love the IKAT Chevron pattern and I could not wait to paint it on to this lamp.

But moving onto today’s project and how this Lamp looked Before its Glow Up.
The lamp before had this nice little crack effect going on, with some metallic touches on the top and bottom part.
The only problem was that it was just so Plain and had no color to it.
It definitely needed a fresh pop of color so I chose the most vibrant Coral color I could find.
It got two coats of the Coral paint and took a complete whole day to dry.
The next day I went in and painted the Ikat Chevron Pattern.
If you read my post on how to paint an Ikat pattern post you will be able to paint it pretty easily.
I used Liquid Gold Gilding which gives the most amazing Gold finish and a very thin brush.
I think Ikat Chevron is the most forgiving pattern because even if you try to mess it up you actually really can’t mess it up!
So you can’t really go wrong here!
I kept the lampshade simple since I wanted all the focus to be on the base of the lamp.
And that was it.
All Done!
